The Lawler City Council met in regular session on January 3, 2022 at 7:00 PM.

 

Mayor Mark Mueterthies presided.

Motion made by Scheidel to approve the 2022 appointments for the city.  Second by King.

Property Fences will be table to next month.

 

Motion made King to set Public Hearing date for the Max Levy approval for February 7, 2022 at 7:15pm.  Second by Izer

Mark updated the council regarding the Ambulance.  A feasible study will be performed before decision s can be made.  Please reach out to County Supervisors for your opinions.

 

Motion made by Izer to open Public Hearing for Lease City Land.  Second by King.

Ayes:  Scheidel, King, and Izer

Nayes: None

Motion passed.

 

No questions were asked regarding the Property Land Lease to John Brincks.

 

Motion made by Scheidel to close Public Hearing.  Second by King.

Ayes: Scheidel, King, and Izer

Nayes: None

Motion made by Scheidel to approve Resolution No.  2021-12062021 to rent farm land to John Brincks.  Second by Izer.

Motion made by Scheidel to open Public Hearing to vacate and convey city owned property to Kurt Croell.  Second by Izer.

Nayes: None

No questions were asked regarding to vacate and convey city owned property to Kurt Croell.

Motion made by King to approve Resolution No.  2021-12062021-2 to vacate and convey city owned property to Kurt Croell.  Second by Izer.

Council discussed budget item.  Street repairs were discussed.  Also, possible new Dump truck, picnic tables for Croell park and tennis court repairs.  Suzette will run the numbers the council gave.  Budget numbers will be discussed next month.

 

Mark informed the council the building at the lagoon will be pushed down by Blazek Corp.

 

Next meeting will be February 7, 2022 at 7:00pm.
