Volunteers gain free admission to the beer garden and have the option of purchasing tee shirts for $10 (regularly, $15).
The following are the slots we still have a need. Please sign up ONLY for one or more of the slots listed below. Reminder . . . we have scanners available for checking IDs; they’re simple to use . . . slide in the ID and it will tell you whether the person is old enough and ID is legitimate.

Watch here for special announcements concerning volunteers:
- If volunteering for the parade, please do not check a time; you will be expected to be at the parade site by 8:30 and your time will end when the parade ends.
- You may sign up for more than one time slot if you like.
- If you’re volunteering in two different areas, you’ll need to submit each time slot separately; if in the same area, you may select more than one time slot during one submission.
- If the time slot you select is filled before I get it posted, you’ll be notified via email and offered a different time slot or task.
- Volunteers will check in at the Beer Tent admission table; there will be a person there to check you in. It is preferable that you arrive 15 minutes before you’re scheduled to work. Of course, you will be admitted free.

- The task of “Beverage Distributors” is simply serving cans of beer/pop and possibly some type of wine cooler. NO hard liquor is being served.
- The task of “Merchandise Sales” will include ONLY tee-shirts, koozies, Belgian Waffle Breakfast tickets and cookbooks.
- Age restrictions: You must be 21 or older to distribute beverages and 18 or older to drive the shuttle carts.
- NEW. Just arrived and available to the Irish Fest from the Coalition for Underage Drinking–two scanners! This should make this task a breeze. These scanners are very, very simple to use but, of course, you will be instructed in their use prior to your shift.
